Chocolate Mousse Chocolate mousse is a rich and classic dessert. It is a favorite among many chocolate dessert lovers. It is rich, airy and light dessert with chocolate goodness. This recipe is my absolute favorite,it is an easy no fuss recipe from Nigella Lawson . I have tried this many times and it is a no fail recipe. This is also perfect for those who do not want raw eggs in their dessert. It sets faster  than the regular mousse. Try this, you will surely love it. Ingredients Mini Marshmallows- 2 1/2 cups Semi sweet chocolate- 6 oz. ( preferably dark chocolate ) Butter- 3 tbs Heavy cream- 1 1/2 cup Sugar- 3 tbs Hot water- 1/4 cup Vanilla essence- 1 tsp Rum extract- a few drops Into a sauce pan add marshmallows, butter, chopped chocolate and hot water. Brazilian Truffles/Brigadieros Brigadieros is a Brazilian candy/sweet treat made with condensed milk and chocolate. These truffles has smooth fudge like texture and is perfect for holidays or as party treats. Kids will love it and is so easy to make. Try this,you will surely love it. Ingredients Condensed milk- 1 tin Semi sweet chocolate- 4 oz. Cocoa powder- 3 tbs Butter - 2 tbs Chocolate sprinkles or chopped nuts for garnish Roughly chop semi sweet chocolate and add into a micro safe bowl along with butter. Micro wave for 30 seconds and whisk it gently and put it back and micro wave for another 30 seconds. Continue this process until the chocolate melts completely. Whisk till smooth. In a sauce pan add condensed milk, cocoa powder, melted chocolate and cook on stove top, on medium flame for 8-10 minutes or till it thickens. Choco Balls Choco balls is quick yummy treats for kids and can be made in a jiffy. It has only few ingredients like biscuits, condensed milk and cocoa. You can change the recipe and add ingredients of your choice like nuts, coconut or dry fruits. Ingredients Arrowroot biscuit - 12-15 (Graham crackers or any biscuits of your choice) Cocoa powder- 2 tbs Condensed milk- 1/2 tin Sugar- 2 tbs (optional) In a food processor make a fine powder of biscuits, cocoa powder and sugar. Keep two tbs of this mixture aside. Empty the rest into a bowl and mix condensed milk. Mix till it resembles damp sand. Grease your hands and make small balls. Chocolate Pecan Cookies Baking partners challenge this month was to attempt one gluten free recipe.For me it was intimidating as I have never tried flour less baking. Swathi recommended Dominique Ansel's chocolate pecan cookies. These cookies are utterly addictive, chocolaty goodness. They are light and crispy in the outside with a soft gooey center.This recipe is a keeper and currently my kids favorite chocolate cookies. The original recipe has cornstarch,but they turned out a little flat. Then I tried using almond flour/meal and it came out well.Thanks Swathi for the recipe. Chocolate Chip Walnut Cookies Chocolate chip cookies is my son's favorite. I often make it as an after school treat. This time I added some chopped walnuts and it tasted even better.Try this with a cup of milk or warm coffee, you will surely love it. Ingredients All purpose flour- 1 1/2 cup Baking soda- 1 tsp Salt- 1/2 tsp Walnut meal- 1 cup Semi sweet chocolate- 1cup Sugar- 1/2 cup Dark Brown Sugar- 1/3 cup Egg-2 Butter- 1/2 cup Vanilla extract- 1 tsp Preheat oven to 350 degree f and line baking sheets with parchment paper. In a large bowl,combine butter, granulate sugar, brown sugar on medium speed beat till smooth.  Add eggs and vanilla and beat until well blended.
