Green Chickpea Paneer Curry

Green Chickpea Paneer Curry Green chickpeas is healthy and easy to cook. It is very tender and cooks faster than the regular chickpeas/chana.It has a smooth buttery texture. I found green chana/choliya in the freezer section of our grocery store. Green chana and paneer is a yummy combo and this curry goes well with chapati/ naan.  Ingredients Green Chana- 2 cup Paneer cubed- 150 grams Onion - 1 large Tomato- 3 Green chilly-2  Ginger- 1 inch thick piece Garlic- 3-4 pods Cashew nuts-10-12 Turmeric powder- 1/4 tsp Kashmiri chilly powder- 1 1/3 tsp Coriander powder- 1 tsp Garam masala- 1/2 tsp Meat masala- 1/2 tsp Cumin powder- 1/8 tsp Cardamom powder- a pinch Coriander leaves chopped- 3 tsp Oil- 3 tsp salt to taste Fry paneer till it turns golden brown and set this aside. Lima beans has a smooth buttery texture.It is healthy beans rich in dietary fiber and nutrients.  I used frozen Fordhook lima bean and it does not take much time to cook.Try this,you will surely love it. Aloo Methi Curry (Potato and Fenugreek Leaves) A simple and healthy side dish for chapati/naan. Methi and potato is a wonderful combo. Usually I make a dry stir fry version. I used malai/cream in this recipe but it is optional. Ingredients Potato - 2 medium Frozen peas- 3/4 cup Fenugreek leaves- 1 cup washed and roughly chopped Onion- 1 medium Green chilly-2 Ginger garlic paste- 1 1/2 tsp Tomato puree- 1/3 cup Turmeric powder-1/4 tsp Chilly powder- 1/2 tsp Coriander powder- 1 tsp Chole masala- 1 tsp Cumin powder- 1/4 tsp Heavy cream- 1/4 cup Cumin seeds- 1/4 tsp salt to taste oil Cut potato into cubes. Corn Capsicum Masala

Corn Capsicum Masala A simple and perfect side dish for chapati or naan. Ingredient Corn kernels- 1 1/2 cup Capsicum- 1 large Onion- 1 medium Ginger garlic paste-1 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder- 1/3 tsp Chilly powder- 1 tsp Coriander powder- 1 tsp Tomato puree- 1/2 cup Coconut milk- 3/4 cup Meat masala- 1 tsp Coriander leaves chopped- a little Heat oil in a pan and add chopped onions and saute till golden. Add ginger and garlic paste and saute till the raw flavor disappears. Add tomato puree and allow it to cook for two to three minutes. When you see oil separating add turmeric powder, chilly powder, coriander powder and meat masala. Add capsicum and corn and mix well. Cover and cook for two to three minutes or till the corn and capsicum becomes soft. Finally add the coconut milk and simmer for a minute. Garnish with chopped coriander. Serve with chapathi or appam. Cauliflower Paneer Masala

Cauliflower Paneer Masala Today's recipe is a creamy rich paneer cauliflower curry which is a good accompaniment with pulao,chapathi or naan.You can vary vegetables depending on availability or add more vegetables of your choice.   Ingredients Paneer- 2 cups (cubed) Cauliflower- small sized one Tomatoes- 2 medium Onions- 1 chopped Ginger and garlic paste- 11/2 tsp Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp Chilly powder- 1 tsp Coriander powder- 1 tsp Garam masala- 1/2 tsp Cumin powder- a pinch Kasoori methi powder- a pinch Cream- 1/3 cup Salt to taste Chopped coriander leaves for garnish Make a fine puree of tomatoes and keep aside.
